Questions & Answers

You’ve got questions. I have answers. If you don’t see your question answered here, please shoot me an e-mail. I’m happy to answer any questions you have.

What is your refund policy?

A refund can be obtained if necessary. But, generally I don’t issue refunds.

Depending on the project you are either hiring me to complete a service or produce a one time product. In either case, work doesn’t stop until an approval is given by the client. Once approved and delivered a project is closed and no refunds will be issued. This is due to the subjective and digital nature of my work.

If a project has not begun, or is in the very early stages, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund on your initial deposit. But I do charge a small cancellation fee, plus a hourly rate for any hours completed up to the date of cancellation.

What is your average turnaround?

Turnaround is entirely dependent on the project, but can range anywhere from 24 hours to 6 months. A timeframe estimate is always provided with your cost estimate.

What do you charge?

Cost is dependent upon the project. For some services I have a flat rate, for others I charge an hourly rate, my hourly rate is currently $75 an hour. If you’d like to know what your project will cost please contact me. Estimates are always free and fun!

What is your stance on pro bono?

I have occasionally considered pro bono projects, but I have strict rules when it comes to working for free. Pitch your project, I’m always listening..

How do you approach projects?

You can find a full run down of my process here.

How can I hire you for a long term / contract project?

The same way you’d hire me for a short term project silly, by contacting me

How do you feel about spec work?

As a rule I don't participate in spec work of any kind.

I have a comprehensive portfolio full of varied examples of my abilities and sensibilities. If after viewing my portfolio and possibly talking to me on the phone or via e-mail you are not ready to hire me, then nothing I can produce as a specific example will win the project.

It’s an uphill battle I cannot possibly win, and therefore don’t participate in.
